We were way too busy spoiling dad yesterday to get a post up on the website. We had a great day as a family and dad got lots of couch time watching the US Open, just as he wanted. Thank you dad for keeping this house running smoothly and all the endless list of all the other stuff you do for us! You're the best dad ever and show your love to us in so many ways. Thank you for letting me be your little shadow 24 hours a day. We love you!

Urish racing team
I love racing. I can start racing when I am 5, so I have to wait yet this summer and then another summer before I can start. It can't get here fast enough. Until then I just get to go to the racetrack and cheer on all of my cousins, Macray, Makenize, Calvin and Colton while they race. This is the first racing year for Calvin and Colton.

My cousin Colton and his dad, Uncle Nick, pulling his racecar back to the trailor.
This is the closest I got to riding in the racecar. Then it was time to head back to the trailor but I really didn't want to get out of that car.
Uncle Mike, Aunt Raegann and Calvin gave me a little lift.

I was not getting out of that car. They'd have to take me, racecar, pit cart and all. I wasn't leaving that car.
Hey Pepsi, take a look at the Urish racing team. We're looking for a sponsor and would love to earn some 1st place trophies for the Urish Pepsi team.
Colton is all smiles after his race.

Manning the science kid
As we finished dinner the other night my mom quickly started cleaning up the dinner table, throwing the plates and silverware in the dishwasher and tossing my empty yogurt cup into the trash. I ran over to her yelling "popsicle" the whole time. As she stood there like a deer in the headlight I swooped the empty yogurt cup from her hand and told her about how we could use this empty yogurt cup to make a popsicle. As my mom stood there dumbfounded at my knowledge of this process I gave her a play by play detail on how we could make it happen. So, my mom grabbed the juice and we poured it into the yogurt cup. We cut off the end of a plastic spoon and used it as the stick. The final product was then wrapped in plastic wrap and stuck in the fridge for 24 hours.
The next night after dinner time I pulled out the popsicle and enjoyed my experiment.
It was delicious and my mom is still in shock at my ever-expanding mind. Great teamwork mom! Thanks for the help. The popsicle was delicious!
Well, since neither my mom nor my dad are not science people maybe they passed all those genes to me! In the meantime I'll just keep my science skills in the kitchen.

Row row row your boat
The past Memorial day weekend we finally dug the boat out of storage & my sister & I got to experience our first ride on the family boat. It was a LOT of fun. Thankfully we didn't have to do any rowing on this boat. We were out there on 2 different days. My Uncle Nick & Aunt Raegann got a new boat right before the holiday weekend so we were able to spend some time on the water with them & lots other family.Looking forward to making many more memories at the lake.
Uncle Nick & Reesing
Miles found time to fit in a short nap, while sitting up. I'm thinking he didn't think any of us would notice.

Oh my!
We took a short break from blogging because this household has been too busy to keep up with everything. Not sure where to begin. There has been so much that has happened recently. Reesing is on the move & she is quick. She enjoys checking out all of the new rooms in the house and all the cool stuff at her level. I have done some really cool things myself. Finally, the switch flipped over the Memorial day weekend I decided that I'd rather go potty in the grass, in the big bowl toilet, & almost anywhere else besides in my diaper. WOOO HOOO! That's what my parents said. We had been working on it for awhile, and I was being quite stubborn, but have finally made up my mind that it's something I want to do. My mom and dad kept encouraging me and I really didn't want to do it and everyone just kept telling my parents I'd do it on my own time and in my own way, and that's just what I did. So...please beware that if you drive by our house anytime soon there might be a bare butt running around the yard. That's something we're still working on.
