Buddies

Manning and Kawlins are so great together. Manning does such a great job taking care of his little sisters and they love their big brother. Kawlins really loves her big brother. They take great care of each other. Kawlins actually listens to her big brother really good and enjoys every minute with her brother. There's just a special bond between these two. Mom realized this the other night when KU wouldn't lay down after repeatedly being asked by Mom. Manning turns to Kawlins, kisses her cheek and tells her to lay down. Boom ...eyes shut KU asleep in a matter of seconds.

KU loves falling asleep while rubbing Mans ears.

She likes using his ears as a woobie. If she's holding onto his ears...all is right in KU's world.
Manning's biggest littlest fan, baby KU.

Happy 5th Birthday Reesing!

Yesterday was Reesing's 5th birthday and the weekend was packed with lots of birthday fun. So much fun that I'm a day late on posting. Happy Birthday to Reesing! She's has a beautiful mind, body and soul. She's also a very determined little lady who oozes self-confidence and has a big heart. She's smart, knows just what she wants and knows how to get it. Great things are in store for this little one, and we can't wait to be a part of it. We love you so much and the beautiful person that Reesing is growing into! Your witty humor and sharp mind keeps us on our toes. We love you Reesing!

Reesing's Pre-K Friendship Forest

Reesing has started Pre-K in the Friendship forest classroom and is loving it. She's missing some friends from her class last year, but she gets to make up for it at recess and lunch buddies on Fridays. Here are some pics from her first week.

Making play dough cookies with play doh that smells like cookie dough.

First Day and we are excited.

Her and her good friend, Kellar.
Her and Kellar doing their favorite thing...acting like dogs named Jackson and Rosie! We gotta get this child a dog!

4 years and cheers to many more!

Peanut butter & jelly, milk & cookies, spaghetti & meatballs, a bee & honey, beer & pretzels and Dougie & Shelly.  Some things just go together. Sometimes they're so great together and other times...well, they can be a little messy.  But none the less, the two can't effectively deliver the same satisfaction without one another. Today only marks 4 years of marriage for this family, but the road traveled is much longer than those 4 years. We've encountered some caution signs, a short detour, some traffic jams, the fast lane, lots of green lights, and best of all...a fabulous view as we continue driving on.   Cheers to the family that has been created and cheers to the many more precious moments of life to be celebrated.
