Princess dance class

In addition to Reesing's cheerleading debut, she has been taking a princess dance class. So far she has learned a routine to the newest Disney movie, Frozen, and also Little Mermaid. Next on the list is The Princess and the Frog. Rees loves her teacher, Miss Hannah, and enjoys every minute of the dance class. The parents watching are usually ear to ear smiles because Miss Hannah is very good at challenging the girls. So, basic warm stretches/moves, which seem to be a simple concept, is very entertaining once a room of 4-year old girls tries to mimic the same moves. It's hard to not walk out of this class without a smile on your face.

Everyone's favorite part is "freeze dance" at the end of the class, and Miss Hannah lets K.U. come out and participate in the "freeze dance" sessions each week and K.U. loves it!

Yay for "Freeze Dance."

More Freeze Dance Miss Hannah...please.

Little Chesty Lions spirit

Reesing made her debut as a Little Chesty Lions cheerleader at the LHS boy's basketball game. She had a large cheering section, so thanks to all the family who came to watch her shake her hips. She was so excited to have so many fans in the house. Kawlins rated the performance "two thumbs up" in the form of a great big hug at the end of her performance. Reesing did a great job and  had so much fun performing. She had the most serious look on her face we've ever seen. We are so proud of you Reesing! Great job!

Feeling the love

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and the Urish household has been feeling lots of love.

Today both of the older kids will be celebrating Valentine's Day at school with their friends.

Reesing brought home these art masterpieces and this bag loaded down with valentines from all her friends.

Manning's valentine mailbox, made with lots of love and a KU theme.

Found three little Jayhawks hiding in the closet plotting who know what. Showing their love for the Jayhawks.

Kawlins is all about the kisses, when asked for one, but she's too quick to catch it on the camera.

No matter how much these two kids fight...they do love each other.
