Double the fun

Here are some fun coincidences with my lil' sister's birthday. She was born on September 21st. Because of this she has a super special birthday buddy. Her and my cousin, Colton, share the same birthday. Lots of fun to come in the future. Double the fun for September 21st ~yea! It's sure to be a big bash every year. I was able to catch my cousin's reactions as he heard the news.

"Now let me get this right...you want me to share my birthday with her?"

"Hmmmmm....Let me think about it."

"She's pretty cute, I'm cool with that...let's do it!"
Another fun coincidence is that our good friends the Ediger family, Jason, Kathy, Alexus and Preston, were also expecting a baby boy almost 1 week after my mom was due with Reesing. Also note that we are good friends and things tend to happen at the same time to both families. My mom and Kathy lived together as roommates for a couple years. My dad and Jason worked together at the same company for some time. My friend Preston and I are 1 month apart and now our siblings were due 1 week apart. Well, Preston's mom ended up having her baby on the Saturday before my mom was induced. So, we were all in the hospital together at the same time. It was like one big party. The dads were able to go from room to room. The moms were able to prank call each other (just joking). It was really neat that it worked out like that and has made for another fun memory for both families.

The Ediger family welcomed Mr. Thomas Ediger to the world on September 19th at 9:58 p.m. He weighed in at 7 lb. 11 oz. and was 20 1/4" long.

What's up doc?

I took it upon myself to do a full evaluation of the newest recruit. Everything checked out to be great. A job well done by mom and dad. Doctor Manning has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

Dad and I checking the equipment.
