Chug-a-chuga-choo-choo! Fritz's it is.

The new baby model for Fritz's.

Waiting in line for a table makes me very sad. Do you like my sad face?

Last weekend my mom sister and I joined my Aunt Julie and her family in Kansas City for a nice lunch at a place called Fritz's. This place is a blast. There's a lot of action, noise and good food. It provides entertainment for all ages. There's three locations in the Kansas City area. You can check them out at http://fritzskc.com/

1) You sit down at a table...

2) pick up the phone in your booth to call in your table's order...
3) then your food is delivered to you overhead by train.

It's a unique concept that certainly does liven up meal time. Thanks Aunt Julie, Uncle Stan, Brad and Courtney for joining us for lunch. It sure was fun.

So, when I hear the name Fritz, I'm a happy camper. On the other hand my mom once had a dog named Fritz (similar looking to the one below except for bigger in size, lots more hair and bigger teeth) attach itself to her cheek and not let go when she was little, so it's hard not to bring up a few memories for mom every time we talk about Fritz's.

Hanging with Coach Self, a.k.a. Uncle Bill

The family made our annual trip to Hawk Talk with Gammee Linda last month. Reesing was asked to be a guest co-host with Coach Self for Hawk Talk that night. This was Reesing's first introduction to Coach Self and the two of them hit it off from the start. The two of them really worked the crowd giving them lots of entertaining stories and had a great time answering questions from all the loyal KU fans. Bob Davis began discussing how Jayhawk fans compared to the fans for other Big 12 teams and both her and Uncle Bill couldn't believe what they were hearing, not everyone is a Jayhawk?! That is just silly. This was the first sis had ever heard of this since all that is talked about in our house is the Rock Chalkin' Jayhawks. There really is no other way. Sis was in disbelief and coach Bill couldn't believe what he was hearing. Anyways, it was a moment for the camera. Thanks Bill for giving my sis the opportunity to co-host. We also congratulate you on a wonderful season - 33 -3 is definitely something to be proud of.

Hurry up and get here spring!

I'm tired of the indoor games and I've spent all winter long inside the house thinking of creative ways to spend my time. This was a new game that I created while mom was cooking the other night. I'm so lucky to have such a laid back mom.

The fort.

Monster truck.

Monster truck meet the fort.

Grave Digger!!! Grave Digger!!! Roll out those stunts Grave Digger!
Next comes the tower of dome!

How high can we go?!

I think my mom & dad are both as ready for spring as I am.
Cans of food have never been more exciting.

Woo Hoo! Let's hear it for 6 months!

Another trip to Dr. Kelley's office was on today's agenda for Reesers 6 month check-up. He says "she's perfect and growing great." I told mom that I wanted to stay in the car because the last time they poked me and she told me not to worry and she promised me that they wouldn't poke me, but only my sister. So, after mom's promise I had no hesitations about going into the office...sorry sis.

Here's her stats:

Height - 24.75" - 17% percentile
Weight - 16 lb. - 52%
Head circ. - 17" - 72%

She was a tough one when they gave her the shots. Good job lil' sis.

Happy Friday everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. Spring is almost here and the Urish household is busy busy! It's been a long week & we could not be more ready for the weekend. The weekend will be filled with lots of fun, lots of family and a lot of Jayhawk victories! Go Hawks!

Sister is sitting up all by herself at the 5 1/2 month mark. Yea Reesing! You go girl!

This toy is her favorite toy to play with. It was a Christmas gift from her dad.
Good job daddy-o.

She found her toes last month and has never let go since then.

When we play our friendly game of family football Reesing usually sports the helmet better than she plays! You'll get there sis. Just gi ve it some time. You'll be tackling me in no time.
