My mom really likes the "feel" to this small town and kept stopping to take pictures, and I don't think that's so normal in those parts because we caused a few traffic accidents with people slowing down to figure out what we were doing.
Party Time!
Birthday girl Katie, on the right in the dark shirt, and her husband Craig, in the Hawaiian shirt next to her. Craig is a brew master for Budweiser. Sorry Craig if I didn't get your title right. All I know is you are a hero to many.
My dad and Aunt Sue
My dad getting head stuck in a helmet. Quite comical. Mom and I went upstairs to check out the bird's eye view of the party.
This was the "hot spot" for people to gather...around the keg o' beer.
We did confuse some of the drunk people.
Awww...every great party also must have entertainment for the lil' people. A huge trashcan filled with ice that I could keep digging into and dumping out as much as I wanted without anyone yelling "no" at me was the greatest thing ever. Also, I found myself so popular hanging out next to this keg. Everyone kept coming around to visit me quite frequently.
This is one of my new best buddies, Eileen. She is an Urish cousin and was a blast to pal around with. She did a great job of keeping me out of trouble. My mom and dad wanted to pack her in the car and bring her home with us, but I think her parents kinda like her. She's a great girl. Thanks for hanging out with me.
Another MUST to a great party is balloons. I love balloons and was having even more fun throwing the balloon up into the air being blown from the fan and then running all around to catch it. Good times really.
An Urish lineup. Tim Urish (cousin to Uncle Steve & Grandpa Rod), Aunt Breeze (sister-in-law to Uncle Steve and Grandpa Rod and an true angel), Uncle Steve, Aunt Sue and pops.
My mom and Leslie, the lady who let me terrorize her house for the weekend and break a couple of her ceramic pumpkins. I also did some re-decorating for her while I was there. I think she was cool with it. Nice gal and gave my mom and dad great hospitality.
While nobody was looking I made a break for it, grabbing as many gifts as I could and ran for the door. Then I stopped to take a break and...
Decided to see what it was I made away with. BUSTED!!! Birthday girl caught on to my master plan.
I used my charm and convinced her that I needed to practice my "unwrapping" skills for Christmas, and she agreed to let me help her open the gifts. It was very nice of her.
Why is this man (Uncle Steve- not dad) smiling???
Keep scrolling down for answer
Because he owns the nice shiny "apple red" corvette that hides out under this cover. I would be smiling too. Maybe if I work my charm a little, Uncle Steve will let me test it out when I get older.
Mom, dad, cousin Chris and some lady that decided to pop her head into the picture.
Mom and Chris caught drinking a beer and solving all of the world's problems.
Heather is also a cousin (she's Breeze's daughter). This is a picture of Heather and Chris showing their family love for each other.
Heather and my dad.
Heather and her boyfriend, Bill. Heather and Bill both live in the Dillon/Silverthorne Colorado area. Heather is starting a new and very exciting job with Flight for Life CO. You can check it out here - http://www.flightforlifecolorado.org/ Needless to say, she's a nurse, and a very good one at that. Her and Bill both work at Copperhead during the peak seasons. It was great to see them both.
Heather, Leslie and birthday girl Katie!
