My present from Santa...a brand new skateboard with a personalized decal featuring race cars, Duce boy, and myself. I must have been a really good boy this year.

Merry Christmas...a little late.
From our family to yours...we hope that you had a very Merry Christmas.
Below is the advent calendar that I brought home from school on December 1st.
This is what it looked like on Christmas morning. Mom and dad helped me keep up with it everyday.
At school I made a very special Christmas present for mom and dad. What could be more special than baby Jesus in a manger?

Well, a baby Jesus peanut, that's what. Mom and Dad loved it. I also made an ornament for them. It was a very special one that had a picture of me in it. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

Christmas sing-a-long
A few weeks ago my preschool had a sing-a-long (a.k.a Christmas program) for our family and friends. Lucky for me, my best friend, Preston, has the same preschool teachers, but is in the afternoon class. For the program we got to sing-a-long together, and we got to stand next to each other. Preston and I are only about a month apart and we are good friends.
I'm the Michael Jordan of Christmas programs (notice the tongue hanging out). That tongue is always hanging out, especially when I'm concentrating.
Merry Christmas to all!

Dear Santa,
I have been a pretty good girl this past year. I've been as good as I can for being so little and wanting to explore everything all of the time. I would like something fun to play with and maybe something that makes a lot of noise so I can get the attention of everyone in my household.
Dear Santa
I've been a good boy this year. For Christmas I want a skateboard and
a dvd of Shane and David on the Upside Down show.
P.S. Please disregard the other day when I dumped out every toy in Reesing's room and then complained when I had to pick them all up (see below). I learned my lesson and have done lots of good things to make up for it.

Reesing 15 month update
Reesing loves to have fun and be the center of attention. She likes music and will do a little dance consisting of a little 'stomp, stomp, stomp" and usually a twirl. She enjoys picking on her brother and bothering him every chance she gets. She can shake her head no and yes. She babbles a lot and is very passionate about what she's babbling about. She loves when her daddy throws her up in the air. She likes to be upside down and do gymnastic type flips. She also whines a lot, and my mom and dad say that she whines a lot more than I ever did. She's obsessed with shoes. She likes to steal them and run off and hide them. Reesing loves to pet Duce and thinks he's really funny looking. She continues to really prefer men over women. Reesing still carries the nickname Wee Wee. She goes to bed at around 7:30 and sleeps until 7:30. She's a good eater and usually wants whatever everyone else has. She'll eat just about anything. She's not much into reading, unlike myself. She'll give you a high 5 if you ask her. She's still got 8 teeth (4 up top & 4 on the bottom). She has not messed with the Christmas tree this year nearly as much as we all thought she would. Reesing loves to laugh and giggle and play games with anyone willing. She doesn't really like to cuddle or do any of that touchy feely stuff. She loves honking everyone's noses and loves to synchronize lots of honking noses at the same time. She's very determined and very opinionated and can't even talk yet. She's my sissy and I love her very much.
Santa: Please note the very nice post I just wrote on my baby sister. Hoping this will score me some last minute "nice" points with you.
Love ya, Manning

Happy Birthday Jesus!
I got assigned the task of making the birthday cake for Jesus for our preschool class on Friday. Mom and I got the opportunity to make an angel food cake for the birthday party for Jesus.
Reesing also contributed. She had a very important job...licking the cake batter of the beaters. She did a great job at it.
Of course, to make an angel food cake you need to have a bottle to put the pan on so that it can cool. So, Mom opened the fridge door and found one last bottle of Hard Mike's. It's a bottle, right? Yes. Perfect! Mom would have to say this was a bonus of baking the birthday cake, and I'm sure that Jesus would approve. We hosted a birthday party for Jesus and my classmates and I enjoyed angel food cake and ice cream. It was a great day and a lot of fun.

Where did November go?
It's been pretty quiet on the blog lately because we've been super busy. Mom's been very busy finishing up the fall semester at KU, keeping up with her busy workload and trying to get things ready or Christmas. Dad's been busy keeping up with Wee Wee and myself. Wee wee & I have been busy testing dad & trying to make his hair fall out.
This busy schedule makes Wee Wee hair stand up on end.
Baby it's cold outside.
I'm really just over this cold weather stuff, unless it's gonna snow. I'm really ready for a good romp in the snow. Besides snow, the other part I like about the cold weather is how stinkin' cute Reesing looks in her winter hats.

Wee Wee really takes her eating very serious. This was the end result of trying to eat all of the macaroni & cheese in the bottom of the bowl. There was a lot more on her face, but most of it fell off before mom could get her camera out.
