Sis and I colored Easter eggs.
And yes, sister had a really good time coloring the eggs.
As did I.
You aren't really doing your job if you don't get egg dye from head to toe, right?!
Or end up with completely green hands.
Sis was very proud of her eggs.
And took special care putting them in a safe spot to dry.
Egg cocktail anyone?
Reesing's finished product.
And mine.
Reesing eating the dye.
Once Reesing's eggs were able to dry in a safe place, she decided it was time to launch them.
Nice follow through Reesing. They were her eggs, so we let her do what she wanted with them, which included smashing them to pieces.
And in this house we make race car eggs, of course!
The next day we headed out to Aunt Raegann's for some April birthday/Easter fun. The Easter bunny (Gammee Linda) had a couple bunny helpers hid the eggs for the little ones.
Then the hunt began and we searched all over the yard for eggs.
Reesing didn't mess around and went right to the source. She partnered with the bunny's helper and found all the good hiding spots.
Smart thinking Rees. You didn't mess around.
JACKPOT!
Maybe the Easter bunny's helper couldn't resist because Reesing was dressed pretty much like a mini-me of her.
Partners in crime.
Counting the goods.
And then they all spilled.
She had to hunt them again, but it was much easier because they were all in one spot.
Then, in celebration of the jackpot loot sis had gathered Aunt Raegann and her did a little happy dance.
And we spun around and around.
I celebrated with a little trampoline jumping.
Hmmmm...sister found a partner that offered to help her eat her candy.
Checking out my loot. Thanks Gammee!
Hmmmm...who let sissy have another egg?!
This time she didn't want to throw them, but wanted to eat it.
Resulting in blue lips. Makenzie giving her love even though she have blue lips. Gotta love family.
And We We loves, loves, loves her Uncle Nick. Uncle Nick helping her pretty her dress with stickers. We celebrated April birthdays, including also Dad's and Aunt Stacey's.
Reesing & I hanging the Easter egg lights.
When setting out the goodies for the Easter bunny we thought we caught a glimpse of the bunny sneaking a peak at the goodies we left behind, but our camera wasn't quick enough to catch him. It must've been an Easter Bunny ghost.
We left a big carrot and bunny shaped marshmallows, which he devoured.
I don't know that the Easter bunny was aware of the tatoos that came with the Monster truck I got for Easter.
Then on Sunday we headed to Aunt Julie's house for Easter dinner and more fun, which included kickball, baseball, volleyball, sidewalk chalk, hawk watching and bubbles.
Courtney and Reesing hanging out.
Cutie Pie!
Reesing has really good bubble blowing form, even though she just drank most of it.
Aunt Julie is a big kid at heart.
All was good, until a bird decided to poop on Aunt Julie. There was a robin's nest with eggs in it, and we took this as a hint that the bird thought we were a little too close to her eggs.
It's hard to see in this picture but there were several big hawks flying around the yard and kept sitting in trees and watching the squirrels. We kept thinking we'd see him catch one, but we never did. Regardless, it was good entertainment.
Chasing bubbles.
Timeout for a drink.
