Under 2 hours to go!!!
We're 2 hours away from Ho Ho's arrival (this is what Reesing calls Santa). Reesing & I are tucked in bed, the cookies & water are sitting out by the fireplace & Ho-Ho's letter is in my stocking. Can't wait until tomorrow morning!
Santa is close
Ok, we're pretty sure that Santa is on his way. There was just a knock at the door & Santa's Helpers left a gift for Reesing & I. This must mean he's getting closer. Also, we received a phone call from Santa & he said that it was important to continue being good children because we were on his list of stops...yay!!!!
Reesing loves her baby doll. It's extra special because it glows in the dark.
I'm totally freaking out...I'm so excited!
Ready to burst at the seams!!!!
We are so excited for Christmas! We had a special Christmas Eve delivery from a very special person. I like to call her my girlfriend & she's a great sprint car driver. Thanks for stopping by Lindsey Howard & thanks for the special presents!
Thanks Lindsey!
Thanks Lindsey!!! Reesing & her chick saying "cheese" for the camera!
Christmas goodies
We've been busy cooking Christmas goodies at the Urish household. Grandma Sharon's traditional peanut butter balls & Christmas cookies. We invited some neighborhood friends over & had a blast. The weather is beautiful & Reesing & I are getting ready to go play outside with some friends & enjoy the sunshine. Being on Santa...we're ready!
My friend Derrick putting some bling on his Christmas cookies.
Under 12 hours until Christmas!
Our Elf, Frog, has taken a final seat in the living room this Christmas Eve & he brought us a whole bag of marshmallows. He's been eating them throughout the day & only has 2 1/2 left. Frog has provided lots of fun this Christmas season. Reesing & I look forward to finding Frog's new hiding spot every morning.
It's Almost Christmas Eve!
We had a wonderful night with Grammy Linda checking out the area's Christmas lights. Thanks for going with us Grammy! Reesing fell asleep in the car & missed all of the lights. Sorry Rees, but there's always next year. It was a great way to celebrate Christmas Eve Eve. We'll be sure to update the blog throughout the day as we count down to Christmas day & Santa's arrival! Stay tuned...

Art my way
I love art class and have fallen behind on displaying my artwork here on the blog, so here you go.
Thanksgiving leaf at school.
Fish
Every week we learn about a new letter of the alphabet. We work on writing the letter, sounding the letter out, we have to bring something to share with the class that starts with that letter and we usually do something fun that has something to do with the letter of the week. During "E" week we made yummy eyeballs. I ate of them immediately, but mom was able to snatch a picture of the one eyeball I had left.
I call this one "Baby in a manger."
Artistic impression of a Christmas tree.
Great Job on "S" Day!
Working on my "M"'s. Wow, my name is long and has a lot of "N"s, not to be confused with the "M."
I call this one "The Colors of Christmas.

Winter Blues
Do you know how I fight the winter blues...
I turned the living room into Allen Fieldhouse with a makeshift basketball goal in the middle of the court.
I can shoot hoops all day long and not worry about losing my skills during the winter months.
And yes, the sponsor is Fed Ex. They provided the hoop.

Jingle Bells
A couple Sundays ago we had our Christmas Sing-a-Long at my preschool. We sang a bunch of songs in front of a huge audience and it was a huge success.
Reesing enjoying the performance.
Not sure what the sweethearts to the left of me are doing.

A Rock Chalkin' Good Time
More pictures from the KU game that our family went to a few weeks ago.
Measuring my wingspan.
And checking Reesing's wee little wingspan.
Comparing our shoe size to some of the KU greats.
And our hand size.
Warmups!
In awe of Allen Fieldhouse
These were not our seats.
