One, two, three, four, FIVE!

That's right...sis is 5 months old today! She's growing quickly and is learning new things everyday. While mom was away Dad and I sprinkled some Miracle Gro on Reesing's head and now she has lots of new hair sproutlets growing on top of her head. Mom was so excited when she came back from San Diego because she could tell a difference in the amount of head that sis had. Mom's just anxious so she can start really using all of the adorable bows and hair ties she's got stocked away for sister's head. Anyways, all is well at 5 months!

February fun

Mom went to San Diego for work at the beginning of February. Dad did a great job taking care of us while mom was away. Needless tio say, we all survived! While it was a mere 19 degrees and snowy back home, mom enjoyed some sunshine and 60 degree days.

While in San Diego Mom watched the KU vs. Texas game at The Boardwalk. It is a KU alumni bar open for breakfast and lunch only and in the evenings only when KU is playing. It was great. A bar filled with Kansas people all relocated in San Diego cheering on the Hawks. It was like San Diego's version of Henry T's. Be sure to check it out if you're ever in San Diego. Another great spot in San Diego... Kansas City BBQ. Owned by a Kansas native. Filled with lots of Kansas natives and tons of Kansas memoribillia. This is also the place where they filmed the famous bar scene from Top Gun. A really fun place. A must-do on your San Diego checklist.

Then when mom got back in town we celebrated Valentine's Day together as a family! A wonderful lazy day filled with lots of love and Valentine's goodies!

Time is flying by...

So sorry that it's been so long since we've sent you an update. It's been party central here at the Urish household ever since I've turned 3. My birthday was January 25th and I want to thank everyone for all of the birthday love and well wishes I received from all my wonderful friends and family. I love you all. Thanks for making my 3rd birthday a very special one! It was also a very special birthday treat that my birthday fell on the Big Monday basketball game between KU and Mizzou. Coach Self granted my birthday wishe with a big KU victory. Way to go Hawks!
