Back to school

Well, summer flew by...again. Today was the first day of school for Manning (5th grade) and Reesing (2nd grade). The kids had a great summer busy from beginning to end, but it's time to dive back into school.

Sniff, sniff, this is Manning's last year in elementary school. He's top dog at the school and is excited about the new year. Manning: You make us so proud. We love you so much and wish you the best of luck this next year. We know that you're going to have a really great 5th grade year and look forward to all that you'll accomplish this school year. Enjoy every day of your last year of elementary school. We love watching you grow into your personality. Love you!

Reesing is really excited to start the 2nd grade and claims to have the "best" teacher ever! Her teacher is a cheer coach for both Lawrence High & KU, so they're going to get along just fine. Reesing: You make us so proud. We love you so much and know that you're going to have a wonderful 2nd grade year. We are so excited to see what this next year brings you. Enjoy every moment. Love you!

Kawlins is still going to Precious Ones Learning Center and loving every minute of it. She comes home after learning something new every day. She is so bright and funny...really funny. This is her last year in preschool and will be heading to kindergarten next year, so we will enjoy this last year. KU: you make us so proud. You're growing so fast and we enjoy hearing about all the new stuff you learn each day. You are getting so smart and bring smiles to the darkest of days. Enjoy your class and continue to grow more each day. We love you!

Reesing (2nd grade -7 years old), Kawlins (preschool -4 years old), Manning (5th grade -10 years old) and...Fiser. First day of school 2017-2018

Reesing has two of her friends joining her at school this year and one of them are in her class!

One of my beautiful girls....

Letting big brother lead the way. It helps to know he's got your back when you're a little nervous.

A little bit of pampering before the first day of school!
