USAC.25 Tulsa race

We recently headed toTulsa for races #4 & 5 in the USAC.25 The Central Series. It was a great time for the family and Manning raced his butt off racing in three classes of cars for the first time. The Urish Racing team played hard and worked hard.

And she holds her up even when she falls asleep.

These 3 do really enjoy each other and have a lot of fun together. I love them all &glove these smiles.

School's out

Another school year came to a close today at noon. It is 2:42 p.m. and I just received the first phone call stating...."we're bored." Really?! Overall, it was a great year for Reesing and a very bumpy one for Manning. This mom, for one, is really ready for a break from projects, homework, texting, etc. I feel like Doug and I have also just successfully completed the 1st & 4th grade all over agin, as much work as we put into this year. We are thankful for the summer break and looking forward to some fun. I'm hoping for a fresh start for Manning and an even better year for Reesing. It's hard to believe next year will be Manning's last year in elementary school. Not sure how that happened or where the time went. Time files....and now I feel like I'm transforming into my own mother with the words and emotions tied to watching your kids grow up.

End of the year selfie 2017 with Froyo!

School's out for summer!!! Last day of school 2017 - Manning 4th grade - Reesing - 1st grade

Where have you been?!

Well, we've been a bit busy. We haven't forgotten about you, but we've been dealing with some technical difficulties also that have prohibited from letting us post while "on the go" and we're always on the go, so it's been a bit challenging.

Some updates:

Manning (10) recently had his 4th grade music program. Manning has entered the pre-teen phase of life. Spending a lot of time coordinating his outfits ( and very particular about how he looks - he's going through the phase where he wears all red from head to toe one day & then all black head to toe the next day, then all white, then all blue, etc.), making sure his hair looks good and chatting via FaceTime and text with whatever girl he's "dating" this week. It's been an interesting phase with 5th grade right around the corner!

Reesing (7) and her competitive cheer squad, Starfighters, have been on a roll. Her team took 3 first place finished and 2 third place finishes for the season. Her team also won first place most recently  the last season competition and won a bid to nationals in Dallas, TX, so us girls loaded up the car with 4 other girls and headed to Dallas. They had a lot of fun & ended the season on a high note, as they were the first local team to ever win a bid to nationals, which was exciting. She and her other siblings have been spending lots of time creating musical.ly videos, which has created hours of entertainment. She's also been busy with lots of friends' birthday parties.

Kawlins (4) has been busy following her brother and sister. She currently attends Precious Ones Learning Center & loves it! She also has a couple friends in the neighborhood that she plays with. She is often making us laugh and sometimes cry, as she's very ornery and a real comedian. Right now she is currently obsessed with Doc McStuffins, P.J. Masks & Paw Patrol. She lives racing, playing with race cars and I see racing in this little lady's future!

A normal dirty face after a long day at school always shows how much fun she's had!
