Grandpa Rod's birthday!
This July we helped surprise Grandpa Rod on his birthday with a surprise party Tracy hosted. Grandpa Rod is a hard one to pull on over on, but it was done.

Touchdown! Gorilla Football
Manning started his second season with Gorilla football this year. We're playing in our 1st tournament this weekend. We lost the 1st game, but the highlight was Manning scoring the one & only touchdown for the Gorillas. Dad is coaching this year, a.k.a. "Coach U". We're looking forward to a great season go get 'em Manning!
Reesing's First Week Kindergarten
Redding started kindergarten over a week ago & is really enjoying it. Before we know it she'll be teaching the class! She is making new friends & likes being in the same school as her big brother. Good luck this year Reesing. You're going to do great things. We love you!

Kawlins 1st Day of preschool
Kawlins (age 2 1/2) had her first day in Discovery Days preschool this week. We had a "meet the teacher" day. She has 2 fabulous teachers, Mrs.Amy & Mrs. Susan, & is really looking forward to going to school. She is so excited, if you couldn't tell by the pictures. Good luck KU! We love you.

Urish racing
Summer is here & racing season is in full swing. We're at a Saturday night race right now. Fast cars, bug bites, popsicles, friends, lightning bugs, intense heat, sunshine, beverages, lots of parents yelling. Lots of kiddos laughing. Summer nights at the racetrack where lots of memories will be made.

Legends baseball
We've been a very household the past few months. We are on the go non-stop. It's been a really great summer but there's been no downtime to stop & blog about all we've been doing.

Manning played on the Legends baseball team. They were in the 8U National DCABA baseball league. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. Two nights a week we were out at the ball fields enjoying the summer evenings. We finished league play in first with a record of 10-2, but fell short to the RedSox in the season tourney. Cousin Miles played on the Redsox team. It was fun watching both Manning & Miles play this season. Baseball season is now over and we're all enjoying the break before Gorilla football begins.
