Summer is here & racing season is in full swing. We're at a Saturday night race right now. Fast cars, bug bites, popsicles, friends, lightning bugs, intense heat, sunshine, beverages, lots of parents yelling. Lots of kiddos laughing. Summer nights at the racetrack where lots of memories will be made. 

Legends baseball

We've been a very household the past few months. We are on the go non-stop. It's been a really great summer but there's been no downtime to stop & blog about all we've been doing. 

Manning played on the Legends baseball team. They were in the 8U National DCABA baseball league. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. Two nights a week we were out at the ball fields enjoying the summer evenings. We finished league play in first with a record of 10-2, but fell short to the RedSox in the season tourney.  Cousin Miles played on the Redsox team. It was fun watching both Manning & Miles play this season. Baseball season is now over and we're all enjoying the break before Gorilla football begins.

Happy Mother's Day

Thank you to our very special Gammee Linda and all she does for us. We love you so much. Thanks for being such an awesome lady. Also, sending a special hug and kiss to Grandma Sharon in heaven today. Thank you for bringing me into this world to enjoy this beautiful life I'm living! Love you.

A special Mother's Day party

Reesing's teachers hosted a Mother's Day on Friday at preschool. It was a fun-filled event including an art show & some playtime. Reesing also gave mom some precious gifts from the heart. Love you ReesyBaby. I had so much fun.

Reesing's preschool class takes turns sharing the bible story each month.  This month Reesing was the star of the program.  She was the gardner who did all the right things to make a garden grow.

A day at the races

After taking last season off Manning is back on the race track. He had his first, of many to come hopefully, of the season. A little confidence and some more "seat" time it'll be as if he didn't miss a beat. We love being back at the track and seeing all of our race family and friends again. Good luck this season Mans! Go get 'Em!!! Love you!

Spring kid's fair

Check this out...ReesyBaby holding a really long snake. Gross. She loved it but when she was done she wanted Mom to grab it off and Mom wanted her to patiently wait for the nice Pet Store person. Yep, Mom, Manning & KU wanted nothing to do with it. ReesyBaby was the bravest of all!
