Happy 1st birthday to baby K.U.!

Kawlins loves birthdays and Kawlibs really loves cake . She 'a never afraid to dig right in. Our beautiful lil' Kawlins turned 1 (11/12/13). Hip hip hooray! She isn't walking yet, but is so close. She could do it if she wanted to (physically), but still working on the courage. She can stand on her own and balance herself without any help and will dance in place and clap, so we know she can do it! She'll be walking soon and we'll update the blog as soon as she does. 

Kawlins, Happy Birthday to you sweetheart! We cannot wait to see what exciting things are planned for your future. We love your spunk, your determination, your fire and smile! We love you so much !

Best thing about presents for a 1-year old? She needs help doing everything. Opening presents, blowing out candles, inspecting all the new toys, you know... The important stuff.

Halloween Haunting

OA Happy Halloween was had by all. Lots of treats & tricks. Special treat of the day was mom's special friend, Julie, driving all the way to Lawrence & stopping by to drop off treats for us kiddos. Thanks Julie! The treats were yummy and Mom loved seeing you! Best trick of the night was when mom about peed her pants after a huge mechanical spider tried to attack her. 

This year I was a Free State football player. Reesing was Ariel Mermaid princess and Kawlins was a monkey.  Reesing and I both had really fun Halloween parties at school. The stars aligned when we went to Gammee Linda's and some of our cousins were there so we were able to do some trick or treating with them. Fun, sugar highsLots of candy still left to eat!
