Woo Hoo...who would have thought at the beginning of this year we'd be in the Final Four?! What a great ride! Congratulations to the KU women on an excellent season & also to the men on making it to the Final Four. Big game next week against Ohio State. In the meantime the work/school week is probably going to drag by for everyone in Lawrence. After the game on Sunday we headed downtown for our chance to celebrate the victory over Roy Williams & his boys with practically the whole town. So much fun. Bring on the Buckeyes!
Once the final buzzer sounded we all loaded up in the car and headed downtown. While waiting in line, low and behold, guess who was in front of us. Gammee Linda! What an extra special surprise.
Finally made it to Mass Street after a long wait.
Celebrate Good Times...C'mon!
We found a parking spot on Mass, parked and celebrated with the entire town of Lawrence.
