Monster Face!!!

KU's latest trick is Monster Face. If you ask her to do "monster face" you'll get to see something like this

She'll stop what she's doing, throw her hands up, freeze her face like she's just seen a monster. It's really to cute in person. She'll even get to going so good that her little head will start shaking. Next time you see her and you need a smile ask her to so her monster face, and you won't be disappointed. She's also so smart that she will do it at times when she gets in trouble, In an effort to make those around her laugh. However, it doesn't work very well for Mom and Dad because they are onto her little game.

Bet you cannot guess where she learned it from, huh?

KU loves her dad

When we were at the zoo we saw the baby monkey attached to it 's momma the entire time we watched them. Whatever move the big monkey made, the little one would soon figure out the best way to get in the middle. Kinda like the picture below of momma and baby. It's hard to tell where one stops and the other begins.

Well, we have a similar scenario in our house. Everywhere that you find Dad, you will find baby KU. It's hard to sometimes tell where Dad ends and KU begins.

A night of dance

Reesing's princess dance instructor, Hannah, dances for Point B studio and they held a special performance of their show"Phobia" a few weeks ago at the dance studio. Mom and Reesing went and watched the amazing "Phobia" performance. Reesing had a blast, despite the entire performance being more geared for adult-level interpretation. The dance company had a performance for about 20 different kind of phobias that people experience. It was great to watch Miss Hannah dance and do her thing.

Spring futsal

My spring season of futsal (a.k.a. Soccer) is now over. We won every game and had a great time at it. We had the smallest player in the whole league and I think he had more goals himself than the combined score for all the other teams for the season. I definitely learned a lot through this season. Great season Jaguars!

Finally a nice warm day.

Mom & us kids spent the nice spring day at the zoo. So much fun and nice to be outside.

Baby monkey really small.

Monkey playing peek-a-boo.

Baby monkey sitting with momma.

Our 3 monkeys.

Two little monkeys.

This elephant freaked KU out.
And KU loved this flamingo.

And at the petting zoo, KU ate more food than she fed to the goats. Gross.

And we got to watch a good bear fight.
And we fed a lot of fish and sucks.

Jaguars Soccer

This winter I've been playing an indoor soccer league, otherwise known as futsal. It's been a lot of fun and it's been something to stay active with this winter. I scored my first goal in last week's match. We have won every game , so far, this season. We have practice every Thursday and games on Saturday mornings. One last game this next Saturday. Thanks to Grandma for coming to cheer me on!

Princess dance class

In addition to Reesing's cheerleading debut, she has been taking a princess dance class. So far she has learned a routine to the newest Disney movie, Frozen, and also Little Mermaid. Next on the list is The Princess and the Frog. Rees loves her teacher, Miss Hannah, and enjoys every minute of the dance class. The parents watching are usually ear to ear smiles because Miss Hannah is very good at challenging the girls. So, basic warm stretches/moves, which seem to be a simple concept, is very entertaining once a room of 4-year old girls tries to mimic the same moves. It's hard to not walk out of this class without a smile on your face.

Everyone's favorite part is "freeze dance" at the end of the class, and Miss Hannah lets K.U. come out and participate in the "freeze dance" sessions each week and K.U. loves it!

Yay for "Freeze Dance."

More Freeze Dance Miss Hannah...please.

Little Chesty Lions spirit

Reesing made her debut as a Little Chesty Lions cheerleader at the LHS boy's basketball game. She had a large cheering section, so thanks to all the family who came to watch her shake her hips. She was so excited to have so many fans in the house. Kawlins rated the performance "two thumbs up" in the form of a great big hug at the end of her performance. Reesing did a great job and  had so much fun performing. She had the most serious look on her face we've ever seen. We are so proud of you Reesing! Great job!
