Another show & tell day at school

What should I take?
A mini-gummy hamburger?
Nah, I think I'm going to take my racecar and my Mack to haul them all. Bet you could've guessed that was coming.

Where's Reesing?

We were playing out in the garage the other day and all of a sudden Reesing disappeared. Nobody could find her.

Upon looking closer...

She revealed her hiding spot to us.

And she thought that she was so funny!
She thinks she's such a comedian. She's also cool enough to sneak a few bits of Duce's food whenever she can get by with it.

Great win today Hawks!

First half of the game was frustrating for every Hawk fan (see frustrated Hawk fan below).

Then we started to do some good things and the Hawk fans were pumped (see excited Hawk fan below).

Then the "Chill on the Hill" set in and we calmly walked away with our victory.
We got our act together and pulled off an amazing victory. Way to go Hawks!

BOOOOO!!!

This crazy looking old man jumped into our cart while we were out grocery shopping yesterday. My mom turned around to grab something off the shelf and nearly jumped through the roof when she turned around and saw the scary old man that had taken the place of me.

Little did she know....

It was only ME! Happy Halloween!

About 7 more hours until Halloween

What a beautiful day outside today. I hope you're all able to get outside and enjoy the weather. We're sad today because of the terrible Jayhawk loss, but we haven't let that ruin our day.

Yuck....pumpkin guts! After dad cut the top off he wanted me to help clean off the yuck. Uh, no thanks.

Making sure dad and mom got it all cleaned out. It passed inspection.
Making the face.

\Reesing was supervisor of this project.

Dad showing off his "spinning in the air" pumpkin tricks.

Trying to poke the eyes out.

Success!

This pumpkin did not sure the attempted carving. We were attempting to care We-We into this pumpkin, but it did not make it. Is it a coincidence that the same pumpkin dad was spotted trying out some fun spinning in the air tricks also seems to be the same pumpkin that fell apart?! Coincidence? I think not.

Putting on the final touches.

Finished product.

Sharing some M&Ms with my jack-o-lantern.

Obviously, I shared some M&Ms also with We-We. The evidence is still on her mouth.

Giving my sister a ride on the 4 wheeler.

Halloween parade - Yay!

I had a really good time at my preschool Halloween parade today. It was a lot of fun and I was so happy that my mom was able to come and watch. Now, it's time to come down off this sugar high and get prepared for a weekend filled with more Halloween fun!

Jeff Gordon in da house!

Next on the list...Halloween parade.

Then on stage for some songs and entertainment for the parents.

Final stop was the classroom for pictures, pictures and more pictures.

Countdown to Halloween

Ok, so Halloween is just around the corner. What are you going to be for Halloween? I'm going as Jeff Gordon, my favorite race car driver. Can anyone guess what little Reesing is going to be? I won't spoil the surprise. You'll just have to wait until we put up the pictures. I'm sure we'll have pictures up of our costume by the weekend. I can't wait to go trick or treating this year and am really excited because I get to dress up for a Halloween parade tomorrow at school! I can't wait.

I love going to school. During the 2 and 1/2 hours we're there we read books, have snacks, have music/art time, enjoy recess, and learn a lot. It's a busy 2 and 1/2 hours, but it's a lot of fun. I've brought home some really cool art projects that are hanging throughout our house. The day my dad came to school we made textured pumpkins. The other day I made a cobweb with a spider in the middle of it and gave it to my Gammee Linda. (I hope you like it Gamme!) In the month of October we focused on the 5 senses. So, when we discussed vision we made a puppet of an animal that has excellent vision. Can you guess what it is?

Yep, you got it. Please meet Mr. Owl.

I was pretty proud of this puppet and mom, dad and I had a lot of fun playing with Mr. Owl.

This was an artwork project to show support of the pancake feed they had at preschool to support the school. This was my plate of pancakes. The really cool part was that the brown syrup paint drizzled all over the pancakes really smelled like syrup. Still up for debate though is what the long brown fuzzy things were on the pancakes. Mom keeps asking me why there are caterpillars crawling on my pancakes and I can't quite remember what they were supposed to be, so we'll just leave it at caterpillars.

We-We is too small to go to school. Everyday she wants to go with me, but I just have to keep telling her, "Someday We-We, someday." Until thing she just hangs around and does the "being cute" thing.

I'm a hard workin' man

It's very rare to find me not either racing cars, watching races, talking about racing or working on cars. It's my favorite thing to do. My uncle Willie is a mechanic and between my dad, grandpa, uncles or friends I'm always watching the big boys work on the cars and I'm usually right there by their side watching every step.

I had a break down on my Radio Flyer that needed fixed. So, I propped it up on my lift and got to work, toolbox by my side.

My sister tries to be my assistant as well as she can. She still needs lots of training to get where she needs to be by race time, if she wants to be my Crew Chief.

Always working...

and fixing...
while mom is always standing around watching and snapping pictures.
