There's not much that my little sister doesn't like to eat and she really gets into it when shes eats.

Just leave me alone.
The other night I was ticked for some reason, who knows about what, and was not having a good night. My little sister came to my rescue. I was ticked and was upset and sis was worried about me. She wouldn't leave me alone and was very concerned as to why I was upset. I just needed a little space and couldn't seem to get any. It seems that everywhere I go, whatever I'm doing, she just always seems to be around.

Last day of July...already?!
Where has the summer gone? We've had a busy summer and are gearing up for an even busier fall. Mom starts classes again on August 19th. I start preschool on September 1st. My mom and dad are getting married (woo hoo - 11 years and 2 kiddos later) the last week in August and me and my family are hosting a reception to celebrate on Labor Day weekend. Football season is gearing up and my dad couldn't be more excited. Then my lil' sister turns one on September 21st. Lots of exciting stuff happening in the upcoming months. Hold on to your horses it's about to get crazy in this household. My sister has not been feeling very well the past two days. This is actually her first time being "sick sick," if you know what I mean. We hope that she gets to feeling better soon. There's been a lot of crying and tears. Hang in there little sister. I love you. You'll be feeling better in no time. Below are some pictures from this summer.

Below is me with two of my older cousins who both race. Colton on the left and Calvin on the right.
Our Aunt Raegann feeding Reesing sno-cone (a.k.a. legal crack for kids). Reesing loved the sno-cone and wasn't going to let Aunt Raegann get by with the old "one and you're done" trick. She suckered her into lots more bites. Thanks for sharing Aunt Raegs.

Lights, camera, action
This evening severe thunderstorms surrounded our house. There was a lot of rain, thunder and lighting and wind. Several lightning bolts struck really close to the house, a little too close. Mom had sis and I in the bathtub when we noticed out the window that our house was surrounded by firetrucks, cop cars, several ambulances and all kinds of other support vehicles. Lightning must have struck something close by, but it must have been a false alarm because they didn't stay too long. There was a lot of action in a short amount of time. Mom helped both sis and I out of the bathtub to go check out the action. Here are the action shots.

9 months going on 10
9 month mark has come and gone and we're well on our way to 10 months. In two days, July 21st, Reesing will be 10 months. We were a little busy and didn't get Reesing's 9 month marks up in time. Mom has been fighting kidney stones, which haven't gotten the best of her yet. Reesing's been busy growing and dad and I have been busy racing.
9 month stats:
Height - 27.5" - 38 percentile
Weight - 18lb. 15oz. - 45 percentile
Head circ. - 17.75" - 76 percentile

Reesing crawls at lightning fast speed. Pulls herself up on anything and will stand there forever. She is a morning bird and is kind of crabby in the afternoons. She takes long naps and sleeps through the night. Reesing LOVES food and has a big appetite, eating anything put in front of her. She can drink from a sippy cup. She enjoys playing cars with me, one-on-one time with pappa and shopping with momma. She still only has two teeth. Last night as she had pulled herself up on the edge of the bath, she slipped and as she looked up at mom and I all we could see was streams of blood. We think her two bottom teeth cut her upper gum, but it was enough to freak both mom and I out. Today as we were looking at her upper gum we noticed some big front teeth, so we're thinking the cut maybe gave the outlet the upper teeth needed to come through. So, it might not be too much longer until we have some more teeth coming through.

It runs in the family
In this post Reesing is holding a baby picture of Grandma Linda. Not sure how old Grammee Linda is in this picture, but there was a week or so that Reesing resembled this photo exactly. In this picture Reesing is about 6 1/2 months old. You can still see a lot of the similarities between these two beautiful people.

Where did June go?
Wow! Summer is flying by. We've been really busy and have not been able to blog as much as we would like. We hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July holiday, just as we did. Our family spent some time on Saturday at Bloomington beach with some friends and family and everyone was able to get on our boat and also take a boat ride. The rest of the weekend was filled with good company, good food, loud fireworks and lots of fun. The long weekend was a nice break.

I got a really neat baseball set, complete with batting helmet, batting gloves and a new bat. I earned all of it during my potty training phase. I love baseball and enjoy hanging out in the yard playing with mom and dad.
We've been taking a lot of walks. I usually start out walking or riding my scooter, but I usually end up sharing the stroller space with my lil' sis.
Duce loves cuddling up to me every time I fall asleep. He's sneaky like that.
Reesing (a.k.a. we-we) is now 9 months old. She crawls at lightning fast speed and pulls herself up onto everything. We're waiting for her to take off walking any day now.
Reesing has discovered chocolate and loves it, but honestly we really haven't found anything that my sister doesn't love to eat.

Happy belated Father's Day!
We were way too busy spoiling dad yesterday to get a post up on the website. We had a great day as a family and dad got lots of couch time watching the US Open, just as he wanted. Thank you dad for keeping this house running smoothly and all the endless list of all the other stuff you do for us! You're the best dad ever and show your love to us in so many ways. Thank you for letting me be your little shadow 24 hours a day. We love you!

Urish racing team
I love racing. I can start racing when I am 5, so I have to wait yet this summer and then another summer before I can start. It can't get here fast enough. Until then I just get to go to the racetrack and cheer on all of my cousins, Macray, Makenize, Calvin and Colton while they race. This is the first racing year for Calvin and Colton.
My cousins Colton and Calvin standing by their cars and letting me tag along.

My cousin Colton and his dad, Uncle Nick, pulling his racecar back to the trailor.
This is the closest I got to riding in the racecar. Then it was time to head back to the trailor but I really didn't want to get out of that car.
Uncle Mike, Aunt Raegann and Calvin gave me a little lift.
Hey Pepsi, take a look at the Urish racing team. We're looking for a sponsor and would love to earn some 1st place trophies for the Urish Pepsi team.
Colton is all smiles after his race.
